"I recently switched agents from Gwen Brooks’ office due to concerns with the level of service I received.

I have multiple policies, including three homes, two vehicles, and recently added rental dwelling coverage. The rental policies were handled by someone in the office who appeared to be new and unfamiliar with this type of coverage. That in itself is not an issue, but there did not appear to be adequate oversight or review.

I later discovered that two rental dwelling policies, written only a few weeks apart, had different coverage structures with no explanation provided. That lack of consistency and communication is concerning.

When I contacted Gwen directly to discuss these issues, the response I received was defensive and dismissive. I was told their call logs showed attempts to reach me, which conflicts with my call logs—we all have them on our phones. Instead of addressing the discrepancies I raised, the conversation was diverted to generalized legal or regulatory explanations that were not relevant. My concerns were not addressed.

In contrast, my new agent reviewed all of my policies with me in a single call, clearly explained coverage differences, discussed options, and made appropriate adjustments. That level of clarity and service is what I expect.

I will also note that, based on my experience, I would not be surprised if a defensive response is posted to this review attempting to discredit my concerns. That appeared to be the approach taken when I raised these issues directly.

"I honestly was on my way to Geico driving down college and I glanced to my right, and I saw state farm billboard with Gwen’s picture on it across from ft collins nissan. When I got to where I thought the Geico office was, it was closed right had moved to another location. So for some reason, I just googled Gwen state farm agency location and drove over there. My home and auto insurance was with Nationwide and Progressive and the car insurance with Gwen was about the same as Progressive but the homeowners insurance was $1500 cheaper for more coverage. I was handled quickly and efficiently and couldn’t be happier with the savings that I got by using Gwen State Farm agency. $1500 is $1500"
